I work on a client’s current issue while keeping their long-term goals in mind.

Chanel Simon focuses her practice on Alaska Native law, Business law, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate Law. Prior to joining the firm, she was an Assistant District Attorney in Bethel, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases. Before that, she was a Law Clerk at the Alaska Superior Court in Bethel. She also held internships at the U.S. Senate, Doyon, Ltd., and the Court of Appeals in Fairbanks. Before her legal journey began, she was an accountant at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation.

As a lifelong Alaskan who has lived and worked in both rural and urban communities, Chanel brings valuable insight into Alaskans’ legal issues. She serves on the Alaska Bar Association Board of Governors and is a shareholder of Doyon, Limited and K’oyitl’ots’ina Limited, and an enrolled member of Huslia Village. She is an unenrolled descendant of Calista Corporation, Bethel Native Corporation, and Orutsararmiut Native Council.
