LBB Welcomes Three Associate Attorneys

Landye Bennett Blumstein LLP is pleased to announce that three associate attorneys have joined the firm. Kyla Lucey, Michael Partrick, and Jed Ullrich each bring a unique perspective, and their education and experience will strengthen the firm’s legal services specifically in Alaska Native law, environment and natural resources law, trusts and estates, real estate, and business law.

Kyla Lucey graduated from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. During law school, she worked internationally, published articles on international human rights issues, and interned with the State of Alaska Department of Law. After graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Adolf Zeman at the Alaska Superior Court. Kyla will focus her practice on business law, real estate, and environment and natural resources.

Michael Partrick joins LBB after clerking for the Honorable Judge Wheeles at the Alaska Superior Court at Anchorage. He graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law, with honors, and was awarded the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he was the student director of the business planning practicum and an article editor on the Editorial Board of the University of Wyoming’s Law Review. He will continue his interest in business law at LBB as well as focus on estate planning, real estate, tax, and civil litigation.

Jed Ullrich

Jed Ullrich is a lifelong Alaskan whose great-grandparents homesteaded before statehood. He was an LBB Summer Associate in 2024, and we are thrilled to welcome him back as an Associate Attorney. Jed earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2025 and was recently admitted to the Alaska Bar. He brings a wealth of Alaskan life experience in the fields of construction, fishing, and manufacturing. He will focus on Alaska Native Law, environment and natural resources, labor and employment, and municipal law.
