LBB attorney, Richard Camilleri, has been selected for the Top 40 under 40 class of 2023 by the Alaska Journal of Commerce. This is a well-deserved recognition of his accomplishments. Richard is an exceptional attorney with extensive knowledge and experience, and his unique depth of expertise is widely acknowledged.
Richard has always been committed to taking care of his community. By serving on the Makalik whaling crew in his hometown of Utqiaġvik; co-founding Leadership:Barrow, a program that encourages youth to get involved with public service and that provides local scholarships since 2011; and volunteer work as a Big Brother, as a Board Member to NeighborWorks Alaska, and more, Richard has proven himself to be a committed community leader.
Richard achieved his childhood ambition to become a lawyer. His determination to help others led him to work in various legal fields – from serving as a White House legal intern at the CEQ during the Obama Administration, to supporting children and families as a Supervising Attorney for the City of New York Administration for Children. Now back in his home state of Alaska, he sees his work as an attorney as an opportunity to further help others and serve his community by ensuring the success of his rural, tribal, municipal, corporate, and nonprofit clients. He is thoughtful, ethical, and hardworking, and is dedicated to serving his clients with the utmost compassion and expertise.
Richard’s commitment to professional excellence and community service is admirable. We are confident he will continue to achieve great success as an Alaskan attorney.
