It’s my job to make my client’s job easier, by delivering an accurate and concise work product.
Tina practices environmental, natural resources, telecommunications, and corporate law, a natural result of her extensive environmental background and her recent years as Compliance and Regulatory Counsel for GCI Communication Corp. She designs practical corporate and environmental compliance programs that are mindful of the line between compliance and over-compliance, tailoring each to fit the company’s values, resources, and goals.
Telecommunications companies rely on Tina’s expertise on the FCC’s antenna structure registration and environmental processing rules to support build-outs, upgrades, and collocations. She guides clients through the permitting and contaminated site processes, drawing from her pre-law career in contaminated site management to employ strategies to reduce or eliminate threatened penalties.
An advocate for the industries that fuel Alaska’s economy, Tina has written the title opinions for some of Alaska’s largest mining prospects and enjoys practicing mining law. With a passion for conservation, Tina has negotiated conservation easements to preserve high-value habitat lands in the Anchorage and Mat-Su Boroughs.
Tina enjoys hiking, kayaking, and flying as she explores Alaska with her husband and dogs. She is a fan of bagpipe music, Craftsman decorative and fine arts, and genealogy. If you want to know what it means to be a second cousin twice removed, ask Tina!
