LBB’s Portland Office Adds Three Attorneys

Landye Bennett Blumstein LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to our Portland office: Kirsten Day, Joseph A. Furia, and Ross Neher.

DayKirsten Day has joined the firm as a partner. Day  joins the firm’s Real Estate practice and will handle legal matters for corporate clients of all sizes as well as individuals. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University, and her Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. She is admitted to practice in both Oregon and California.

In addition to her practice as a private attorney, Day Previously served as Vice President and General Counsel of PacTrust (Pacific Realty Associates, L.P.), where she managed a 16 million square foot portfolio of commercial real estate properties. Her legal practice included a variety of clients in leasing, acquisition/disposition, development and financing of regional shopping centers and other retail properties, Class A office buildings and industrial properties.

FuriaJoseph A. Furia has joined the firm as a partner.  Furia will focus his practice on Environmental and Natural Resources Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Yale College and his Juris Doctor from the Lewis & Clark Law School. Furia is admitted to practice in both Oregon and Washington.

Previously, Furia served as general counsel and policy director for the conservation nonprofit, The Freshwater Trust where Joe led a four-person legal team and outside counsel on all legal matters including contracts, corporations, fundraising, litigation defense, intellectual property, and employment. He also directed policy efforts on natural resources, water quality and water quantity issues in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, and nationally.

Prior to legal practice, Furia worked in business development and government affairs for a hybrid vehicle company, and a Silicon Valley-based technology company.

NeherRoss Neher has joined the firm’s Aviation practice. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and his Juris Doctor from the Lewis & Clark Law School. Neher previously worked for an aviation defense law firm in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Ross has over 20 years of experience in aerospace and has worked as a corporate jet pilot, flight instructor, and as a forward air controller in the United States Air Force.
